Okay I knew this session was going to be cute, but Sarah and Logan brought a whole different level of adorable to Golden Gardens for their maternity shoot. The second they showed up with their Golden Retriever trotting proudly alongside them, I was like yep… this is going to be good.

We kicked things off on the grass while their dog did what all good dogs do: stole the show immediately. He kept looking up at Sarah like “Hi mom, this is my baby too,” and she was smiling the whole way through. Logan was fully in proud-dad mode!

Then Sarah showed me the little baby outfit they brought and the sonogram photos, and I swear my heart melted on the spot. They held it up together while sneaking a kiss behind it and it was just… ugh. Perfect. The rolling around in the grass was a great belly laugh for all of us!

Once we made our way down to the beach, the whole vibe softened even more. The sky turned that pale pink-blue that Golden Gardens does so well, and Sarah and Logan fell into this easy groove like they do this every day. Walking barefoot in the sand, hand in hand, laughing at absolutely nothing but also everything.
