From bump to baby to 4 generations of family fun! Maternity, newborn, family sessions, and announcements are some of my absolute favorite things to photograph bc of how quickly our kiddos, bodies, and families change!
I'm great at wrangling toddlers, making dads laugh, and getting newborns to cooperate (mostly lol). Come as you are— the real, warm, wonderfully imperfect version— and I'll take care of the rest.

We had the BEST time with Brynna, who captured our family of 4 with our newborn! She came to our home and immediately made us feel so comfortable. She moved about so effortlessly and captured such stunning images with beautiful timeless colors and compositions. Our toddler is SO crazy, and she never sits still for photos. I am worried we won't get any posed shots with her. How do you approach this in your work?

As a toddler mom myself, I am well aware of the chaos that ensues when you tell a tiny little human to sit still for countless photos. I typically start out by making the poses and photos into a game, so they can get their wiggles out on the front end. Then I've usually gotten enough good will to ask them to look + smile for at least a couple photos before we start playing again! Family sessions with toddlers are ALL about play.

I really want maternity photos but I feel so insecure about posing! I don't want the photos to feel cheesy or unflattering...

I LOVE maternity photos for this very reason, there are so many ways to pose with your bump that are beautiful and chic! It's like a built in accessory! Plus I remember all the bodily insecurity that comes with the changes of pregnancy and promise to capture you in your glowiest most radient energy :)

We feel VERY intimidated by figuring out what to wear for our session! It feels a bit overwhelming and I honestly don't even know where to start!
