I knew this iconic Washington ferry engagement session with Claire and Jack was going to be good, but I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy watching these two just be together. They have a natural ease about them and are so genuinely happy in each other’s company. The ferry setting made it even better.

On our journey across the Sound to Vashon Island, we started in one of those classic ferry booths with the huge windows overlooking the Sound. The light was soft, the water was calm, and Claire and Jack fell into their own little world. They kept reaching for each other’s hands, trading small smiles, and laughing at little things!

When we stepped outside onto the deck, everything opened up. Jack kept brushing Claire’s hair out of her face, she kept laughing, and the whole moment felt effortless. Watching them look out toward the water together was one of my favorite parts of the session!

As we reached the dock, Claire and Jack wandered down the deck still chatting and laughing with each other, completely in their groove. It was one of my favorite parts of the whole session. The whole day honestly felt like a 90s romcom.

Claire and Jack, you two are a joy. This session was so fun, and made me even more excited for your wedding!
