Washington has some of the most stunning wedding venues, and as a wedding photographer I get to visit so many of them! Picking a wedding venue can be a really tough decision to make. Does it fit in my budget? Do I need to find my own vendors or choose from an approved list? How many guests are allowed? It feels like a never-ending list of questions. It’s also important to find a venue that you love visually and that fit the aesthetic you want for your day, along with all of the other logistics. Since I’ve been to so many beautiful venues and also planned my own wedding, I decided to put together a list of my top 5 favorite Washington wedding venues. Keep on scrolling down to get some inspiration!
Laurel Creek Manor has a very special place in my heart. I’ve photographed multiple weddings here and it’s also the venue that my husband Kyle and I got married at! It’s located on 5 acres of land with the most beautiful weeping willow trees that make for a gorgeous backdrop. It also feels like you’re getting married in an upscale backyard, complete with a beautiful garden and big patio for dancing!
Twin Willow Gardens is perfect for those wanting to tie the knot surrounded by nature. This venue offers a forest ceremony area that is absolutely breathtaking. There is a designated spot for every part of your wedding day, including a tented reception area. The gardens here are immaculate and are the perfect location for bride and groom portraits.
This winery is surrounded by the cascade mountain range. This venue is perfect for those wanting a rustic feel on their big day. There are multiple packages to choose from with indoor and outdoor seating for 250+ guests. Swiftwater Cellars is great for weddings held in every season, especially winter weddings! The snowcapped mountains are picture perfect and just waiting to be in the background of a gorgeous wedding.
This venue is great for those wanting an indoor wedding or an urban vibe. There is tons of space with a lot of romantic ambient lighting. It seats up to 300 people which is perfect for couples wanting their entire guest list invited. The team at this venue is truly amazing to work with. Sodo Park is also close to to my favorite parking garage which is perfect for those golden hour rooftop photos.
Cave B Winery is the venue to choose if you want a gorgeous view of the Columbia river gorge from every direction. This venue is east of the cascades and totally different scenery than western Washington. The area is great for weddings with lots of places for friends and family to stay!
I hope you got some inspiration from my top 5 favorite Washington wedding venues and a better idea of what to choose! I love every single one of these and would be ecstatic to photograph another wedding at any of them. If you need a photographer for your big day click here to contact me, I would love to chat!
