On the day of your wedding, your photographer will be taking a TON of detailed shots so, it’s important to figure out the details to have ready for your photographer. There are many special items you’ll want to be photographed such as your rings and personalized items! These are actually two super important items but are not the only ones that I will be sharing.
Detail shots are a great way to see your wedding day as a whole and not just for the important big parts. Without detailed shots, you wouldn’t be able to see all the small things come together as one big event that you have been planning for so long. You’ll notice that when your photographer gets to your venue they will usually start capturing those small details. You’ve put so much time into your wedding day and it’s only important that you capture every single moment, especially the small ones. I curated a list of items that every person getting married should put together for their photographer to capture. If you’d like to read more about it, be sure to keep on scrolling.
Ask your florist in advance to make sure they give you extra buds/stems/flowers for your detail shots! And also be sure to have them with you wherever you’re getting ready so your photographer has easy access!
This is your invites, but it’s also your programs, menus, or any other cute printed products you spent time designing (or hired someone to design!)
All of these smaller items can be hard to keep track of, but they are definitely something you’ll want to remember when looking back on your wedding day. Try to combine them all into one box, that way you can hand it to your photographer and get them all back in one spot after the photos so you can wear them!
Try to have your dress hanging on a pretty hanger, or at least have one easily accessible for your photographer! You are in love with your dress and we don’t want to take away from its glory with a generic plastic hanger!
If one of you is wearing a suit and has these items, make sure to set them aside so that my second photographer or I can get a little detail shot of them before you get dressed!

“I could not have dreamed of a better wedding photographer! Brynna was professional, kind, flexible, and very communicative. She knew the “look” I was going for in my wedding photos, and gave us something even better than I could have ever imagined. She truly knows how to capture the magic of a wedding day. I was nervous that taking wedding photos would be awkward, but her calming and fun personality created a relaxed and comfortable environment. I can’t wait to work with her in the future!”
