Capturing this Central Washington wedding day was an absolute dream! As a photographer in the Pacific Northwest, I’ve had the pleasure of shooting some amazing weddings. And Diana and Jack’s wedding was definitely one for the books!

From the moment I met Diana and Jack, I could tell they were a special couple. They both share a love of travel and adventure, and it was evident that they had poured their hearts and souls into planning every detail of their wedding day. I knew from the start that this was going to be a *specatular* wedding.

The day itself was hot, but the beauty of the surroundings more than made up for it. Swiftwater Cellars provided the perfect backdrop for this lovely couple to exchange their vows and celebrate with their family and friends. I couldn’t help but be impressed by the stunning mountain views and the lush greenery that surrounded us. It’s so important to pick a venue that reflects you & your partner’s vision- you almost have to fall in love with your wedding venue the same way you fell for each other!

One of the things that made this wedding so special was the couple’s wonderful family members. They all played a role in making the day memorable, from reading during the ceremony to dancing the night away at the reception. It was clear that Diana and Jack come from loving and supportive families, and that made the day even more meaningful.

Some of my favorite shots were with Diana & her girls- getting ready, popping champagne, and their reaction to her in her dress! They had the BEST time together and such a fun dynamic that really came through in the photos. Then came the first look, with the breathtaking mountains behind and the love blooming between this sweet couple. It was windy, but you know I love making wind a main character when it comes to couple’s portraits (sorry hair team!)

As a wedding photographer, I pride myself on capturing the essence of each couple I work with. Diana and Jack were no exception. They were so full of joy and love, and it was an honor to be able to document their special day. I loved getting to know them throughout the planning process and working with them on the day itself. They were both so easy-going and fun to be around, and I think that really shows in the photos.
