Katie and Sam’s Georgetown Ballroom wedding was an absolute blast! As soon as I met them, I knew that this couple was going to be a ton of fun to work with. They met as coworkers, and it was clear that their shared sense of humor and love of adventure had brought them together. Sam was especially cute with Katie when we were out taking photos. It was so clear that these two were meant to be together.

The Georgetown Ballroom was the perfect venue for their wedding day. With its exposed brick walls and rustic charm, it provided the ideal backdrop for some truly stunning photos. The deep greens of the bridesmaid dresses popped against the deep reds of the venue, creating a perfect contrast that made the whole wedding gallery absolutely shine. It’s always important to keep your venue in mind when choosing your wedding colors, and Katie and Sam nailed it with their choices.

But what really made this wedding special was the couple’s fun-loving attitude. From popping champagne while getting ready in the bridal suite to tearing up the dance floor with their friends, Katie and Sam were all about having a good time. And boy, did they ever! The dance party at this wedding was one for the books. It was clear that this couple had surrounded themselves with super fun friends who knew how to let loose and have a good time.

As a wedding photographer, I am always looking for couples whose wedding day priority is to have a REALLY GOOD TIME. And Katie and Sam truly fit the bill. They were so laid back and easy to work with, and their love for each other shone through in every shot.
