Hey friends! So this summer my weddings ended up being heavily concentrated in August (no surprises since it’s a gorgeous season in Washington!) The first of these was Sarah & Nic’s wedding at Saltwater Farm in Friday Harbor. Man, this was the perfect wedding to get me back in the spirit after a few weeks off. It had the most gorgeous, locally grown flowers, a HYPED up wedding party, and perfect sunny weather to cap it all off!

Morning Prep

I rolled up to the bridal house, greeted by the familiar buzz of wedding morning jitters. Sarah was in her element – surrounded by her squad, champagne in hand, laughing and prepping for the main event. It wasn’t just about the stunning bridal details or the energy of the room; it was those small, shared moments that gave the morning its magic. Nic, her groom, got her a sweet framed print of their favorite song, and a gorgeous bracelet. The groomsmen were also having a great time right down the trail, and you could tell Nic was giddy to hop on the golf cart and see Sarah all dolled up.

First Look & Vows

Fast forward a bit, and we had Nic, our dapper groom, standing in a sun dappled orchard, anticipation written all over him. I love a first look that is raw and full of joy, and theirs was those things and then some. They were just smiling nonstop the WHOLE time. Swoon. We did some fun wedding party photos to the soundtrack of Doja Cat, and then it was off to the ceremony overlooking the San Juans. Among other precious moments, they had their pup Levi walk down the aisle, along with their adorable 2 year old ring bearer and nephew. Prettyyyy adorable.

Party Time

Now, onto the evening. The reception? Oh boy, did it come alive. Every corner was a blend of elegant décor, and fun flashy details. Sarah and Nic threw a legendary dance party (no surprises) and those are hands down some of my favorite photos from the day.

Honestly, this wedding was the whole package. It had the quiet, intimate moments, raw emotions, hilarious friends and a party atmosphere. Absolute gold.
