I’m still thinking about this beautiful day with Valerie and Zach at Fox Hollow Farm. Their wedding was full of joy, laughter, and all the cozy PNW charm you could hope for in a venue. This was my first time shooting a wedding here and it felt like a fairytale, but this day had something extra special.
This was a wedding I booked before I knew I was pregnant, so I didn’t know how I’d feel being back behind the camera. But the second I arrived, it felt like everything clicked into place. The creativity and connection filled my cup right back up. Becoming a parent has deepened my perspective in so many ways, especially when it comes to capturing family legacies. It’s more than just pretty photos. It’s preserving something sacred.
Valerie and Zach were an absolute joy to photograph. Their people, their energy, the way they moved through the day with ease and intention, it all came together so effortlessly. The entire experience felt full of meaning. It was the kind of day that reminded me why I love what I do.
I also got to shoot alongside one of my favorite second shooters which made the day even more fun. Being surrounded by such a warm, easygoing group of people made everything feel smooth and celebratory. Every part of the day held meaning, but none of it felt forced. Just natural joy and connection. I left that night feeling inspired, grateful, and really, really proud of what we created together.
So grateful for a magical day with these two and even more grateful I got to pick my camera back up for it.
