Hey there friends, couples, & fellow photogs! I recently had the incredible opportunity to capture Julia and Ian’s engagement photoshoot in this breathtaking North Bend field, just in the shadow of Mt. Si. Julia & Ian wanted a wilderness feel without having to drive or hike, and I knew just the spot.

Julia and Ian shot their engagement session with my lovely associate photographer Nicole, who will be shooting their wedding next August! They chose a perfect afternoon when the sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow on the peaks. The herd of elk that populate this area were calmly grazing as they parked the car. Julia and Ian were thrilled at the views as soon as they set foot on the field!

It was super fun looking through Nicole’s photos from this session as a third party observer, because I really got to take in Julia & Ian’s relationship and dynamic without being there to pose them and worry about camera settings or lighting. It was so sweet, and Nicole did an UNREAL job capturing them in their element. These will make you smile all the way through, enjoy!!
